Kathy Jones is a native Houstonian who, in 1979, became a Realtor® and an Associate of Wayland Hancock Properties, a company founded in 1970 by Kathy's family and named for her grandfather. A native of Fort Worth, Ruthie graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in interior design and a minor in architecture. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and is a retired member of the Junior League of Houston. Ruthie has served on the Texas Christian University Clark Board, the TCU Parent Council, and the boards of several Houston charities. She belongs to St. Martin’s Episcopal Church and is the mother of three grown sons.
