Management company who will lease with Low credit score excellent rental history high income

I recently had a financial speed bump when the hospital I worked for had cutbacks and I was laid off without notice. I relocated to Austin to be closer to family. I had some late payments and carried a balance on my credit cards. This caused my credit score to plummet. I have excellent rental history (8-10 years of references) no broken leases, no issues with property damage or anything at all like that even. I just started a new job, I
I'm a Registered Nurse and I make about 90k per year. Is anyone aware of a management company who will rent to someone with just a low credit score ?

There are some options for potential renters with income and a stable job history. I am happy to discuss those to anyone interested in leasing or leasing with the option to purchase a home.

Yes there are many property management companies who will look at your individual situation and then make a decision. Write a letter to the landlord or the Landlord's agent and send it in with the application. If you have a Realtor helping you, ask them to talk to the landlord's agent to see if they will work with you.

Most of the times you hear about leases like this when people are in a rush to move in. The next time your lease is up please call me. I'll help you find what you need and want as well. Contact Anthony a few months before your lease ends.

Hello Terryn,

I would love to help. Fortunately, you are still in great position to lease a home. I’m my experience with many landlords you will likely be required to just pay a higher deposit as long as you can verify all other qualifications. Call me. I would love to assist.

Most management companies will lease to someone with a low score if they can provide one year rent upfront. Keep in mind most tenants have a 580 score. Not sure where your score is, best of luck.

So sorry to hear you’ve had difficulty. I am in agreement with the others. Low credit score need not detour you. We manage over 340 properties in the Houston/ Galveston area. Feel free to give me a call. I am happy to help. Sometimes it’s best if your agent is upfront directly with the landlord before wasting your application fees and taking your money. Happy to help!

Hi there! I agree with what John Woo suggested. Putting down an extra deposit or even moving in ASAP would likely put you as a top contender. If you have consistent employment in the same field it will actually help you out too. I have had higher success rate finding apartment homes for clients recently employed. The same applies with rental homes. It would just be a matter of what would be a better fit for you. I hope this answer puts you more at ease. If you have any more concerns, please f...

Hi Terryn, I am sorry to hear about the situation. Honestly, it is case by case, especially if tenant is willing put up additional security deposit to ease the mind of landlord. Just my two cents.

I am a real estate broker that manage properties. Depending on the application and the tenant employment and rental history I have accepted and rented to people with low credit scores.

Hi Terryn,

If you need help finding a place to lease, I would be happy to assist you. Some apartments and/or landlords may require you to pay a higher deposit and/or first and last month's rent upfront based on your credit score. Private landlords tend to be more lenient with regards to credit scores. Let me know if I can help.
