Pius Dawson

Pius Dawson is an internationally recognized real estate professional, global industry leader, and mentor dedicated to strengthening international collaboration in real estate, investment, and economic development.

Born in London, United Kingdom, and educated in Germany with a Bachelor’s degree in European Economics specializing in Import/Export, Pius brings a uniquely international perspective to the real estate profession. His early career in luxury retail, finance, and marketing with firms such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Ermenegildo Zegna, and Florida Capital shaped his expertise in branding, client relations, and global business development.

Pius currently serves as Global Chair for Texas REALTORS and previously represented the United States as the National Association of REALTORS Global Ambassador to Germany and Austria. In recognition of his leadership and contributions to the global real estate community, he was awarded the NAR CIPS Excellence Award in 2025. He is also an Executive Board Member of Sister Cities Houston (SCH), supporting international diplomacy, trade, and cultural partnerships under the City of Houston’s global engagement initiatives.

A respected industry mentor, Pius serves on the Texas REALTORS Leadership Development Committee and mentors agents, brokerages, and REALTOR associations across Texas. Within the industry he is often referred to as “the mentor to the mentors” for his commitment to developing future leaders.

His international engagement includes membership in several global real estate organizations. Pius is a Global Member of AMPI (Asociación Mexicana de Profesionales Inmobiliarios) in Mexico and a member of Immobilienverband Deutschland (IVD), Germany’s leading real estate professional association. He is also a Past President of FIABCI-USA Houston Council and former Chair of the Houston Association of REALTORS International Advisory Group.

One half block from the Metro Train meant we did not have to hassle with traffic, even though we had a car. The apartment was clean, equipped appropriately with all amenities. The pool and work out facilities were very nice and kept up. It was easy to deal with Pius and he accommodated my request twice for extended stay. A few mouse clicks is all it took. Thank you! M. • Corporate Relocation Reviews: The location is absolutely perfect, close the the light rail, medical center and museum districts. If you have an event at NRG, you can walk and skip traffic and parking. His place is clean and cozy, quite comfortable. Huge tv, WiFi, cable, and a blue ray too. The pool is a nice bonus. • Corporate Relocation Reviews: The apartment was nothing less than perfect for what I required! Modern amenities throughout, really comfy bed and lovely natural light through the daytime. The apartment Pius picked for me was located on the 4th floor with the loveliest view on to the pool area. "The Valencia" is situated in easy walking distance to the street train with great access to either the NRG Center in one or to Midtown/ Downtown with shops, restaurants and convenience stores in the other direction.
