Where can I find a 55+ community
Hi Polet! Then go BACK to your search screen and scroll down to the bottom and click YES. Then scroll back up and run your search criteria and they should all be 55+ properties. Hope this helps!
Hi Polet, You can find 55+ (active adult) communities using several search tools. Hi Polet, You can find 55+ (active adult) communities using several search tools. On HAR.com, use Advanced Search and include keywords such as 55+, Active Adult, Senior Community, or Age-Restricted in the keyword field, since many of these homes are identified in the remarks rather than as a formal filter. You can also search on sites like Zillow and Realtor.com. While Zillow does not have a dedicated 55+ filter, using the same keywords in the search bar and reviewing listing descriptions is effective. Realtor.com sometimes identifies 55+ or active adult communities within the community details. In the Houston area, many 55+ communities are located in master-planned neighborhoods in areas such as The Woodlands, Katy, Cypress, Sugar Land, Pearland, and Conroe. Searching by specific community names (for example, Del Webb or other active adult developments) can also help narrow results.
