Patrick Banks
After graduating from Rutgers University, Patrick dove into the world of sales and marketing in New York City gaining experience in magazine publishing, travel and tourism.
In 1990 Patrick moved to Houston and has lived inside the loop for more than 30 years. He has a broad base of experience in buying, remodeling, and selling a wide range of properties from historic homes to new construction.
Patrick works with clients city-wide, but the Heights, Montrose, and Museum District areas have been fertile ground for his expertise in Inner Loop real estate. As a Houston real estate Top Producer from 2007-2023 and currently a 2023 member of Coldwell Banker's International President's Circle, Patrick enjoys leveraging the tools and services of the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury brand for his clients. Patrick is a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHM) and a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.
Patrick's primary goal is simple to understand his clients' needs and objectives. He takes time to educate all of his clients about the market, presents outstanding options and is hands on in his approach.
He understands the importance of communication, and most importantly as a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) Patrick is a savvy negotiator.
Patrick prides himself in the number of repeat and referral clients he has worked with over the years. No two transactions are alike and each presents different variables. My experience negotiating and closing transactions on more than 350 properties has prepared me to identify, address and resolve the complex issues that arise in connection with the real-estate process.
For newcomers moving to Houston, you can expect a tour of the city from Patrick as well. He knows every point of interest, great restaurants, and interesting facts about many Houston neighborhoods.
Gaining confidence and trust from his clients is important, but ultimately Patrick enjoys knowing that his clients also become great friends.
Actively involved in the Houston community, Patrick is involved in Historic Preservation Houston. He has been on the board of the Avondale Association and was on the planning committee for the new Avondale Promenade Park recently built in Montrose. Patrick loves the international diversity that Houston offers and has a social network aimed towards bringing together people from all over the world who share the belief that living internationally makes life a richer experience.
Patrick is an avid traveler having visited more than 55 countries. The Visual and Performing arts are some of his favorite past times. He also enjoys the outdoors, hiking, skiing, eating Tex-Mex, Halloween, and staying in touch with family, friends, and clients.
