Mercedes was born in Patagonia, Argentina, but has called Houston home for the past 13 years. She appreciates the unique needs of an international newcomer as well as the uncertainties all home buyers and sellers face and is adept and approaching their working relationship with warmth and sensitivity.
She knows that real estate is much more than just selling houses. “It’s treating clients with respect, listening them, attending to their concerns, and keeping in touch with them.” A true people person, her rich background in travel and exposure to different cultures allows her to connect with all clients. She speaks Spanish and English and can communicate in Portuguese as well.
Mercedes has worked in sales for over 15 years. Before entering real estate, she worked as a customs broker. Her experience built a solid foundation of skills from communication to public relations, organization to management.
Mercedes is married with three wonderful children. Her oldest son graduated as a lawyer from the University of Houston, her middle son joined the National Guard after graduating from high school, and her daughter is starting her studies to become a nurse practitioner. Mercedes is also a triathlete and has qualified for the World Triathlon Championships, with many podium finishes and countless finish lines crossed. She enjoys yoga, and escaping to the beach every weekend she can.
