A native of the Bayou City, Oscar Hernandez graduated from prestigious Rice University. Being a native has given Oscar knowledge of many of Houston's diverse communities and coupled with his background in the financial markets made him a natural for the world of real estate.
He earned a dual BA degree in Economics and Managerial Studies from Rice University in the early 1990’s. After college, Oscar spent several years as an equity research analyst and consultant with various Wall Street firms such as Lehman Brothers and Simmons & Company International. During his investment banking career, which took him to New York frequently, he played an integral role in billions of dollars of equity offerings.
Working with money on Wall Street and living in Houston, a town known for its real estate, soon Oscar became a licensed Realtor.
