We have a big family. 4 kids. Being in a house just seems like our best option. Problem is our lease is ending with our current rental and we will not be renewing as the owners would like to move back. I can't seem to find a 3/2 in our area under 1100 @ month with our credit.It's in the 570-580 range.Are there any agents willing to work with us?

I purchased a home in June that was first listed with one agent, then with a second after the first listing agreement expired. The second agent removed her lockbox right after the sale. The first lockbox is still on my door four months later. More frustrating, I don't know what the first listing agent's firm was, and my understanding is that the first agent has left the business. My only option at this point, if I can't find out who originally listed the house is to buy a pair of bolt cutters and cut the box off the door.

If you are unable to get a hold of your Realtor any of us can look up the history if you want to give one of us the address, we could help you find the Broker's contact information and assist you getting the lockbox off of your door. I know it must be frustrating to have that on there.

Is refinancing your home after the age of 60 worth it?

There are many reasons that it could be a very good decision. If your current mortgage has a higher interest rate than what you can get now, and especially if you can refi to a shorter term and save even more in interest. But if you are thinking of moving in the next couple years, the cost of the new loan wont make as much sense. Good luck!
