Zelda Cain, originally from Sibley, MS, lives in Houston, TX with her husband of 38 years, three daughters and their families. She is an active servant in her church, a proud grandmother of 4 and a humanitarian in her community. She established a fulfilling career in corporate America before deciding to follow her passion, and dedicate more time and resources to her faith, family, and community. I chose to obtain a formal related education before becoming a Real Estate agent that has allowed some very useful overlaps in my skill set to assist my customers to both buy at better prices and sell for better returns.

Because I grew up with a father who was always remodeling---and put my first hammer in my hands when I was six years old, I developed a love for real estate at a very early age. Having been transplanted to the Houston area in 1997, I learned firsthand the challenges of being a Relocation Buyer, which has given me the ability to support and understand my Relocation Clients on a very personal level. My Son, who is my working partner, and I also have a home remodeling and/or construction company, which affords my clients a different level of knowledge and insight that has proven to be invaluable. In addition, I am a professional/certified home stager, which comes in very handy as I assist my Clients who are preparing to sell their homes.

As a licensed Realtor in the Houston and Galveston areas since 2002, I have lived and worked in neighborhoods such as Piney Point Village, Memorial, The Historic Houston Heights and Inner Loop, as well as Galveston, and I welcome the opportunity to share my knowledge and expertise. Before becoming a licensed Realtor 22 years ago, I too, was a consumer in the housing world. I remember feeling overwhelmed and often frustrated by the lack on information and misinformation I was given throughout the entire process. After surviving listing appointments, selling and buying a home with a few agents - I decided I wanted to know first hand everything I could about real estate to make the buying or selling process less confusing for anyone else. Having taken my own experiences in real estate as the consumer and client, I pride myself as a Realtor in providing personal connections and integrity to each and every transaction. I still to this day feel sense of pride each time I can hang a sold rider on a client's sign or hand over keys to anxious buyers. Although I do not profess to know everything about real estate - I make sure I know most things in my profession and challenge myself regularly to stay in front of the changes in market conditions and metropolitan inventory and happenings. Janice Ratliff is proud to be a native Houstonian and truly believes Houston is a phenomenal place to call home. After working for an independent developer for several years she decided to embark on a career in real estate. That was 1988! She's never looked back!

Janice and Ron have been residents of Cinco Ranch for the last 28 years and have been giving back to the community in many ways. They are the local Santa and Mrs. Claus for over 34 years and have held many fundraisers benefiting the homeless children of our city.



Janice is a Master Scuba Diver and has spent many years as an underwater photographer. She and Ron have traveled all over the world escaping to the wonderful exotic destinations to spend their entire week underwater. I cannot imagine a better way to regenerate my personal battery so I can get back to work with a fresh face on life! Nothing can scare me..... I dive with the sharks!
