Having always been a country girl. I haved lived in the Austin County, Colorado County, Fayette County and Washington County area, for over 50 years. I am finally fulfilling a long desired bucket list item by becoming a Realtor,

I owned my business from 2001, until retiring in 2013. I have worked in banking, insurance and accounting prior to becoming my own boss. I became a Realtor in 2014, and a Broker with my own company, Remmert Real Estate, in 2019.

I have always worked in customer service and find helping customers rewarding by listening, understanding and finding solutions to their personal needs. I graduated Magna Cume Laude in Finance, but I continue to learn through Real Estate education, to stay up to date on the latest trends, rules and changes in contract forms, to be a better Realtor®.

John is a Southwest Texas State University graduate and has more than three decades of experience working in custom home building and real estate. He has held a variety of management positions from Austin to Houston with Pulte Homes and Beazer Homes. In 1998, he opened John Marek Custom Homes and began building in the Bellville area. Being born and raised in Austin County, John strives to take care of his community by providing exceptional quality and service to everyone. Susan Schulenberg Kiel, Broker/Owner of Market Realty, Inc, With 15+ years working in real estate Susan enjoys helping others find their place in the country, the city or in between and devotes everything she has to representing her clients interests. Susan was born and raised in the rural Burton area of Washington County on a small cattle ranch and is a graduate of Burton High School, Blinn College, and Texas A&M University. Susan grew up in the country and in the construction business with a contractor/father and spent many weekends and summers doing all kinds of work, from roofing to painting, fixing fence and feeding cattle. After college, she worked two years at UT- Austin then returned to Washington County and learned to build cabinets. For the next five years, she designed, built and installed custom cabinetry. She obtained her real estate salesperson license in 2006, and her Broker's license in 2010. Susan bought the company in January 2022 from Roger Chambers.

Linda Niehuus has been involved in real estate, in some form or fashion, since 1973, during which time she worked as a sales associate in the Memorial area. When living internationally, she put her agent skills on 'hold,' but continued to own and manage rental property. Now a long-time resident of Austin County, Linda specializes in country homes, farms, ranches and equestrian facilities. She enjoys listing and showing properties in Brenham, Bellville, Fayetteville, New Ulm and other the surrounding areas--working in a four-county area. "Real estate is what I know and love," she says. "It's often the most important investment a person makes and can become a wealth-builder, as well as a style of living." It's no surprise that Linda's diverse background and international experiences have proved advantageous to her career. "Everything I have ever done professionally has involved working with people, often from vastly different backgrounds, to help them define and meet their needs." "Moving from Paris, France to Nelsonville, Texas was quite a culture shock," says Linda. "We had to learn about ranching and raising animals. It was a real learning curve for several years, so I understand others who are in similar situations." Linda and her family owned and operated a 76 acre cow/calf and horse ranch named "HayWire Ranch" for 19 years, in addition to owning and managing investment properties in Houston, Austin and Bellville. When she's not working, Linda enjoys riding horses, gardening, scuba diving, and biking.

Real estate came naturally over the years, and being a realtor and serving others is something I truly enjoy! My husband and I own Hydro Link Irrigation and Wood Landscaping & Irrigation. Being self-employed with multiple businesses, I know what it is to work hard. I personally understand the challenges the road to home ownership can bring. This has developed in me a drive to help others navigate their journey with clarity through the final process. A few more fun facts about me: I feel blessed to have had two careers in my lifetime thus far. I graduated from Texas A&M University '02 with a degree in education. As a former teacher, I am still active in the community within the school district and in our local church. I was raised locally to this area, and my husband, Jordan, and I couldn't imagine raising our three girls anywhere but here. In my free time, you can find me enjoying the outdoors while walking my dogs, gardening, hiking, camping with my family, and driving through the countryside to take in the beautiful views.
