Susan was born and raised in the rural Burton area of Washington County on a small cattle ranch and is a graduate of Burton High School, Blinn College, and Texas A&M University. Susan grew up in the country and in the construction business with a contractor/father and spent many weekends and summers doing all kinds of work, from roofing to painting, fixing fence and feeding cattle. After college, she worked two years at UT- Austin then returned to Washington County and learned to build cabinets. For the next five years, she designed, built and installed custom cabinetry. She obtained her real estate salesperson license in 2006, and her Broker's license in 2010. Susan bought the company in January 2022 from Roger Chambers.
