Hi, my name is Richard Jimmie Rogers, and I am a native Houstonian. I was raised in a family that invested into residential rental units, so at a young age I developed a passion for real estate. After earning a bachelors degree in finance from Texas A&M Corpus Christi, I returned home to start a career. In 2005, I became a real estate agent and then in 2011 I earned my Brokers license and started Richard Rogers Realty.
When people ask me what I do for a living, I like to respond I am a real estate professional. I don't just say, I'm a Broker because that doesn't offer a true picture of the services I can provide with the skills I have developed over my 17 plus year career. As an investor and property manager myself I am able to provide advice and share my past experiences with potential investors. I have also served as a member of the Appraisal Review Board for the Harris County Appraisal District. This allows me to serve as a property tax consultant for my clients who protest their property taxes.
Another passion of mine is home design and construction. In 2019 I designed and completed my first custom home construction project serving as the general contractor. I currently reside in that custom home with my Wife, our four beautiful Daughters, and two dogs. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, coaching my kids sports teams, wood working, and learning home design using AutoCad.
