She has experienced the savings and mortgage-lending crisis while originally managing a portfolio of up to 600 bank foreclosures. It was during that time when Catherine was awarded her real estate license. Also, because of her training as a bank manager, she was required to learn how to qualify buyers for a mortgage loan and also holds her license to lend with the State of Texas. There is nothing more disappointing than having buyers think they are able to purchase a home only to find out they aren't qualified after all, she said.
