As CEO/Broker and Past President of the American Society of Interior Design, Laurie brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Coton House Realty firm she has formed. After graduating from the University of Texas/Austin with a degree in business and a degree in interior design from the Houston Art Institute, Laurie embarked on her design career by purchasing and renovating homes for resale throughout the Houston area.

She soon discovered that proficiency as a licensed realtor complemented her design skills. As a 3rd generation Houstonian who has lived and worked in the inner loop for 35 years, she knows the city and surrounding suburbs intimately well and decided to combine her design expertise with real estate. Her role as Managing Broker for a local boutique real estate agency opened new horizons for combining real estate, design and remodeling services under the umbrella of Coton House Realty.

Laurie and her family are advocates of rescued animals. She also enjoys butterfly gardening, travel as time permits, reading, exploring the new coffee shops and restaurants for which Houston is well-known and, most of all, spending time with family and pets.

Onyinyechi Onyii Brown is excited to serve her Houston community. Born in Nigeria before moving to Massachusetts at age 3, Onyii is a first-generation immigrant who graduated with a marketing degree from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. After graduating, she moved to Houston in 2003, where she ran Onyii & Co. a very successful fashion business for seven years. She has been featured in Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Houstonia, The Houston Chronicle as well as numerous other publications in Texas for her achievements. With an eye for aesthetic and love for design and architecture Onyii decided to transition from a career in fashion to pursue a career in real estate. Onyii has proven that intense drive, passion, and dedication are enough to grow and thrive in any industry. Onyii has been able to assist numerous buyers purchase property within days on the market. Even still, Onyii is driven by a genuine desire to help people build wealth through real estate and find a home that fits their personal style. She has worked as a top producing agent for nearly four years assisting first- and second-time homebuyers, emptinesters, and real estate investors.
