Among other requirements, an agent must pass a written examination on legal and practical aspects of agency representation. Leon has not stopped there. He has also acquired his Graduate Real Estate Institute designation (GRI) which is obtained by attending a specific, intensive series of a minimum of 90 hours of classroom instruction, covering subjects in contract law, professional standards, sales and marketing, finance and risk reduction. Leon's designation as a Council of Real Estate Specialist places him in the top 4% of Realtors® in the United States who complete advanced training in listing and selling and meet rigorous production requirements.

Mike Day became a Realtor after many years of success as an executive and business owner in the management consulting and energy industries. He is uniquely qualified to assist clients in Houston, where his background and experience position him to understand the financial and logistical issues as well as cultural factors that determine their lifestyle and home choices.

Mike assists clients who are selling or purchasing in the resale home market, buying new construction, or starting with a lot and designing their own custom residence. He is well acquainted with families relocating, buying their first home, or undergoing a transition. He offers knowledge about neighborhoods all over the Houston area that includes schools, churches, civic organizations, entertainment, sports, dining, and commuting options,"

Mike grew up in Maryland, received a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Maryland and a MBA from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He spent 12 years as an economic and financial consultant at Ernst & Young, six years with Louis Dreyfus Energy Trading and Duke Energy as a risk management executive, and five years as a business owner in the energy industry. He and his wife, empty nesters with two adult sons, enjoy sailing, hiking, and participating in community and church events. They spend several weekends each year leading their church's Catholic Engaged Encounter retreat for couples.
