For instance, if I am the property manager of a property and had the applicant complete MySmartMove, I can' share that with the owner.The landlord was correct in not accepting the notices from a 3rd party. I know this is frustrating to applicants because they often have to fill out and pay multiple times.My approach as a landlord is to review the application and once I have selected a tenant, then I ask them to complete the formal background check and credit check. As long as everything matches, then I approve the tenant.As far as the listing agent not responding, call them and talk to them to find out what is going on. The agent must respond within 2 calendar days per TREC Section 535.157. Call the listing agent's broker if required.
