2025 marks Ruth Ann's 23rd year in the real estate profession. She is a seventh-generation Texan and fourth-generation Houstonian and began her real estate career at John Daugherty, Realtors and Greenwood King Properties in Houston. She has strong family ties to the Round Top area and grew up spending time with relatives in Fayette County. Ruth Ann and her husband, Stephen, decided Round Top would be the ideal place to raise their three daughters. With many years of experience in the high-paced Houston real estate market, she brought to Round Top Real Estate strategic negotiating skills, first-rate marketing ideas for property listings, and a drive to assist her clients in finding the perfect property. Ruth Ann also worked in the title industry for three years, giving her an invaluable understanding of the escrow, curative, and closing process. Her husband Steve also works in the real estate industry as underwriting counsel for Old Republic Title Insurance Company.

She is a member of the Houston Association of Realtors, the Austin Board of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, South Central Board of Realtors, and Realtors Land Institute. Ruth Ann is a consistent company Top-Producer (2020 Company Top Individual Sales Agent) and holds the following designations: ALC (Accredited Land Consultant), ABR (Accredited Buyer representative), CELA (Certified Expert Listing Agent), RENE (Real Estate Negotiation Expert) certification, SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist), SRS (Seller Representative Specialist), and is a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI). She served on the Board of Directors for the South Central Board of Realtors, specifically on the Bylaws Committee, Advocacy Committee, and Finance Committee from 2020-2023.

Ruth Ann attended Duchesne Academy in Houston and remains an active alumnae board member. She received her B.A. in English from The University of the South (Sewanee) in Tennessee, graduating with Distinction. She is currently a member of the Round Top Chamber of Commerce, The Round Top DYD Club, and The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce. She is actively involved as a church and school volunteer and sits on the Future Projects Committee at her church.

Ruth Ann enjoys gardening, antiquing, and entertaining her out-of-town friends and family in scenic Round Top. When she's not working and wants to get away, Ruth Ann and her husband and daughters enjoy road trips with the goal of visiting all 50 states.
