My husband and I are thinking about buying a property in the US, while we are living abroad in the UK. We need to know what the best way to go about this type of transaction is. Do we need a mortgage loan, or a bank loan? What is the cheapest or easiest way to do it? Any info would be great!

After you secure financing, it would be best to work with an agent who is tech savvy because Facetime and Skype will become very useful as far as previewing properties without actually being in the states.
