Jerry Jones has been a maverick, top-producing Realtor in the Clear Lake/ Bay Area for over 30 years. From Houston to Galveston Island, people have come to appreciate the no nonsense,frank,and analytical approach to Jerry's real estate guidance and help. Beginning his real estate career in 1985,Jerry was responsible for the marketing and sale of lots and land at South Shore Harbour- a 2300 acre master planned community in Clear Lake. While there, he was instrumental in all facets of residential lot and home sales marketing, as well as commercial land sales marketing, contract negotiation and closings. He was a co-founder of the real estate firm 'Shoreline Properties' and he and his then broker,Karen Keating, built that firm to over 20 agents during the economic recession. He has sold income-producing properties ranging from RV parks to car washes,from warehouse properties to sandwich shops. Previously with a major Clear Lake area broker for over seven years, Jerry recently joined the Houston office of HomeSmart and is a Team Leader on The Bay Area Group. Jerry's professional affiliations include having served as an Advisory Board Member on the Garden State Life Insurance Company and Commonwealth Life Insurance Company board of directors and previously a board member on the Harbourview Care Center's board of directors. Additionally, Jerry is a Past President of the Bay Area Builders Association's board of directors. Jerry is a big believer in giving back to the community. He is an active member of Clear Creek Community Church, where he serves as an usher and participates in local and global mission efforts. Additionally, Jerry has served as an advisory board member and fundraiser for Lighthouse Christian Ministries and serves the organization as a volunteer as well. He is married to his sweetheart Dr. Julie Jones and has four amazing grown children. He enjoys golfing, running, cooking, reading and spending time with family and friends.
