He is Chair of the HAR Governmental Advisory Group for 2016, and is a Region 14 Trustee for the Texas Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee (TREPAC).
In 2012, Ray was recognized by HAR’s NRG as one of the 20 Under 40 Rising Stars in real estate.
In 2013, Ray was selected for the highly respected Texas REALTORS® Leadership Program (TRLP) and graduated from the 4-month program, in November, 2013.
Ray has been active in the leadership of the Greater Houston CRS Chapter, serving as the President-elect in 2013, President of the Chapter in 2014, Past-President in 2015, and Financial Chair in 2016. I believe the short answer is no... because HAR has to keep their member''s personal information private. There are definitely other services that you can send email blasts out to area agents, but HAR isn''t in that business.
Hi Lisa - there are many variables, but in general, you should be able to use a FHA loan on a pre-foreclosure purchase, as long as the condition of the property meets FHA standards.
I am not an attorney and cannot give legal advice. It seems to me, though, that if the county appraisal district gives more value to the land than to the improvements for that specific parcel, that would be a pretty reliable source to point to in making that assertion.
Well, here are a couple thoughts -- first off, you need to confirm that this agent actually participates in HAR''s Client Experience Rating program. Not all agents participate, and not all agents opt to make those ratings public. If you search for them on HAR''s main page, it will show whether they opt in to having their review published. If they are participating, they have 10 days to submit your name and email (as the client) to HAR. It will only appear on HAR if they opt in, and if they are opting in, all reviews automatically do go online.
If they don''t participate in the Client Experience Rating, there are other public ways to participate in rating, such as Google, Yelp and Facebook.
I THINK you are asking about a slow-down in the real estate market. While many aren''t excited about this prospect, I''m fine with a cooling of this red-hot market. I think some increased inventory for buyers would be a huge help. Our months of inventory are so low, it has created a very un-balanced position.
Ironically enough, this seems like something only sellers want -- not consumers. Most buyers, in most neighborhoods, use the HAR app to locate information on the house they are interested in. And, most signs have a phone number to call, for the few that don't have the mobile app. I would echo what was said above -- most flyers end up going to neighbors, or people that aren't serious buyers.
The only problem I've had is when the eKey application on my phone hasn't updated that day yet, and I'm in a remote area with no reception. That is inconvenient, but can be avoided you make sure it updates while you are in a coverage area. Also, your phone battery dying is a potential problem. Overall, I really like it though!
Hello Obioma - A swimming pool usually does add to the appraisal value of a property, as well as the fair market value. In some neighborhoods, a pool is almost expected. It can also help sell a property down the road to have a pool as an amenity. On the flip side, some landlords don't like a pool in a rental property for liability and maintenance issues. Maintenance is something you will have to deal with whenever you have a pool. You just need to be ready to accept that responsibility.
