Landlord for Section 8
Hello. Does anyone here know any landlord has worked with section 8 tenants? A home owner asks me if his house (single-family) can rent to section 8 tenant. What are the requirements for eligibility?

Section 8 pays so much for a one bedroom, so much for a 2, 3 and 4. They set the rates. You can find them on their web site. They will then come inspect and they make you fix things like caulking , weather stripping etc. Pretty picky in my opinion. They pay every month but can stop anytime. In our experience our tenant received a raise which meant they would only pay 1/2. The tenant said she had no money to pay . It was a mess. I had a contract but they don’t have to go by it for some reason . ...
