Hi there- my fiancé and I live in the pearland area and are looking to move towards friendswood or around the scarsdale area. We have a very good income, but MY credit is low due to a problem with GAP insurance. His credit however is fine. I tend to make more each week so without my income he can not get approved. & with my credit I can not get approved.
Any advice is helpful we are expanding our family and need a bigger place.

get your credit report to know where you stand, fix those issues eg derogatory comments, late payments, closed account etc. This part will take the longest. Now get your finances in order. Paydown debt (keep low balances) , keep good credit lines open, Always pay on time. getting your home will be a combination of credit and income. Every lender has their own formula but those are the basics that can get you on track.

Hi Madison!

Congratulations on your engagement! How exciting! If it's one thing the world of real estate has taught me, it is that often individuals can get qualified it can just be more complicated to do so. I would love to help you and your fiancée find a home in the Friendswood area and help you navigate the financing nuances in light of your unique set of circumstances!

Hi Madison!! First, Congratulations on your upcoming marriage and expanding your family! Are you looking to buy a bigger home, or are you looking to rent a bigger home? I understand the frustrations of one credit being lower than the other, and then the opposite income being higher, and all of it working against each other preventing the end result that you want! Give me a call and we will work out a plan to get you where you want to be! I currently live in League City and am very familiar with all of the Pearland, Friendswood, and surrounding areas. I'm ready to help whenever you are!

Kindest Regards,
