Great question Susan! To get an MLS ID, youll need to be a licensed real estate agent and join your local REALTOR association or MLS. In the Houston area, that would be the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR). Once you join HAR, theyll provide you with access to the MLS system and issue your MLS ID. If youre not already with a brokerage, youll need to affiliate with one first, as HAR (like most MLS systems) requires you to have a sponsoring broker before granting access. Hey Susan,Great Question. From a consumer side, head over to har.com and search for the home by its address. Once you click on the property, itll open the full listing. Scroll down a bit, and right below the public description, youll find the 'MLS#' along with the number listed underneath. If you're a realtor with access to the Matrix, the MLS number should be direct to the right of the listing photos below the status.Hope this helps! Susan! Fantastic question! If you go to har.com, you can search a Home by its address. Click on the home you are looking for to open up the listing itself. Scroll down and right below the public description of the property you will see "MLS#" and a number below that. That is the property's unique identifier called MLS number. Hope that helps, feel free to reach out with any questions! 346-412-6603  Email
