Hey Sade, Great Question! First, you'll need to get preapproved by a local lender, unless you're paying in cash from selling your current home. After that, we'll have a ZOOM meeting to discuss the buying process and your timeline. If you need a local listing agent, I would be more than happy to assist -assuming you haven't already been helped. The local agent will meet with you to plan the sale timeline. We'll coordinate with the San Antonio agent to start your house hunt. Initially, we'll shop online and send you videos. Then, we'll schedule in-person tours and potential offers for a weekend when you can visit. Please feel free to reach out at any time with questions at 832-696-8100, Pate@pateherrold-cbarealtors.com

Easy. Close and then have a leaseback for a set time to get into the new home. Or set a longer closing date. A skilled realtor has no problem with this scenario.

Sade! Congratulations on the upcoming new chapter; HOW EXCITING! Can't wait to welcome you to Houston (well, the westside suburb of Katy anyway haha)! Generally, here is how we work this process: 1. We have you get preapproved with a local lender for your upcoming purchase, unless the sale of your home will result in a cash purchase. 2. Next we consult you via a ZOOM meeting on what the purchase process looks like here in general and get an idea of timeframe from you. 3. Then, if you need a local listing agent recommendation, we'll supply you with that! 4. That local agent will then have a listing consultation with you at your home to determine a likely timeframe for sale and closing of that property. 4. We will then talk to the San Antonio agent to coordinate your house hunt timeframe and get started based upon that information! ----- As a general rule, we will begin shopping online and then virtually through videos we make and send to you, and then schedule a weekend for you to come to town for in person tours and possible offers! Ideally, your sale and purchase closings will be within a couple days of one another and you'll only spend a couple short nights in a hotel and movers will coordinate the move across cities to have your things at your new home right on time! Feel free to reach out anytime, my team and I are very well versed in the relocation sale/purchase process, and do a substantial amount of business in Katy! codysellsproperty@gmail.com 346-412-6603
