How many active realtors sold more than 4 homes in 2024? Is it true that over 90% of realtors are not good at their profession?

Letitia Townsend · Accepted Answer

Determining how many active realtors sold more than four homes in 2024 would require accessing detailed market data, which you can retrieve through HARs Matrix system. Specifically, you can go to Marketing Reports on Matrix and then Ranking Reports to generate this information. These reports will help you analyze how many realtors met specific sales benchmarks.Regarding the claim about realtors performance, its important to approach such statements with context. Success in real estate isnt solely defined by the number of homes sold. The National Association of Realtors (NAR) reported that in 2023, the average agent completed about 12 transactions annually, while many agents, especially those who work part-time or in niche markets, might complete fewer but still maintain a thriving and sustainable business.Additionally, real estate involves much more than closing transactionsits about building relationships, providing excellent service, and ensuring clients achieve their goals. For example:Some realtors specialize in luxury or commercial properties, where one or two sales can equate to significant success and commissions. Others focus on providing unmatched customer service or long-term relationship-building, which doesnt always translate directly into high transaction numbers but still reflects professionalism and skill. As for the statement that 90 of realtors are not good at their profession, this is a subjective claim that doesnt account for the diverse ways in which agents succeed. Its worth noting that real estate is a highly competitive industry, and many professionals excel in various capacities beyond just sales volume. Real estate is a competitive and dynamic field, and many professionals contribute immense value to their clients and communities in ways that go beyond simple sales numbers. While transaction data can provide insight into activity levels, true success in real estate depends on a combination of skill, client satisfaction, and market expertise. I encourage you to explore the HAR tools mentioned above to find specific data relevant to your inquiry. If you need help navigating the system, feel free to reach out!
