Lauri T. Brewer

Thornton & Thornton Realty Group, is about far more than buying and selling a house. It is about recognizing the potential of a property, understanding its true value, and knowing how to position and negotiate a transaction to achieve the best possible outcome.

Lauri began her career in design, graduating from The University of Texas in 1985 with a degree in Interior Design. Her work took her from Austin and Dallas to New York and Houston, where she built a career in the design industry before establishing her own design firm. She eventually brought that experience into real estate, where she was named Rookie of the Year with RE/MAX Signature in her first year.

Lauri has called Houston home since 1990 and has spent decades developing a deep understanding of its neighborhoods, architecture, housing patterns, and continually evolving market. Over the years, she worked with RE/MAX and Coldwell Banker before joining CB&A Realtors®, where she has built her real estate business. She combines extensive real estate knowledge with a designer’s eye and a reputation for being both thoughtful and tenacious in negotiations. As a certified life coach, she also brings an unusual ability to listen carefully, understand what matters most to her clients, and guide them confidently through important decisions.

Thornton brings an equally distinctive perspective. Born and raised in Houston, he has an inherent familiarity with the city and its many distinct communities. He earned a Master’s in Architectural Design in London and was a Fulbright Scholar following university. Before entering real estate, he worked as a consultant with KPMG, developing the analytical, strategic, and business expertise that now complements the team’s design-driven approach.
