A Kingwood resident for 25 years and a New Caney resident for 2 years, Gayla Nizzi has specialized in listing and selling homes in Kingwood and the surrounding neighborhoods since 2003 when Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty opened its Kingwood office. Gayla holds the prestigious Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designations. She is also a member of Martha Turner Sotheby's International's Circle of Excellence. An achievement earned by the top producers in the company.
Licensed since 1988, all of Gayla's real estate experience has been gained working for the same broker - Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty. Gayla's multi-faceted expertise in residential real estate is impressive. Over the years, her positions have included assistant to a top producer, exclusive buyer's agent, farm and ranch sales, on-site sales for townhouse and residential high-rise developments, office manager, the accounting department, and director of the marketing department.
Gayla is a trained, experienced relocation specialist. Her father worked in the oil industry and the family relocated many times during her childhood to Mexico City, London, and many points in between. These experiences gave her an appreciation for the American way of life, a compassion for the sensitivities of relocating - even locally – and the gift of speaking conversational Spanish.
A fourth-generation Houstonian, Gayla was a Kingwood resident for more than 25 years. Recently, they relocated to the new Friendswood Development, Tavola, in New Caney. New Caney is currently experiencing phenomenal growth. Both she and her husband, Mike, are graduates of Kingwood High School and have enjoyed watching the area grow and change over the years.
Gayla has committed many volunteer hours to her children's schools. She has worn many hats including PTA president, art masterpiece chairman, ways and means chairman, and spring carnival chairman. In 2008, Gayla was recognized for her service to the PTA with a PTA Honorary Life Membership Award.
In her spare time, Gayla enjoys spending time with her family and playing golf.
