She's witnessed, first hand, Houston's decades-long development into a word-class, gateway city. For 23 years, Konae was a partner in a boutique brokerage specializing in luxury waterfront homes. She has degrees in International Business and Marketing from Schiller International University, Heidelberg, Germany. Konae is a former Board Member of The Henderson County Cancer Society. She created the first Cattle Baron's Run and served as its chairperson. She directed The Cattle Baron's Ball, and served on the Enchanted Isles Homeowners Association Board of Directors. She is the co-creator of IFAA, International Fitness und Aerobic Akademie, and BodyStep. She is also former Miss Texas Teen USA. Konae is fluent in German.

    After they exited their brokerage, energy-service company, and oil and gas investments, Konae and Brad prioritized spending more time together. They merged their careers to form Mitchell Group to practice residential and commercial real estate. The couple resides in Cypress. Together, they enjoy time with their family, coaching stand up paddling, biking, saltwater fly-fishing, traveling, and helping others.
