Ask family or friends! read Har.com, look at listings, interview a few by phone and see how you get along first. See how eager they are to serve you and your best interest. Ask them how much experience they have.

I am purchasing a home in Magnolia at 32111 Spinnaker Run and wanted to find out about flooding of the home. I called my home owners insurance and asked them if they could find out if the home I was purchasing had filed a flood claim. They said no, but that they did file a hail roof damage claim in 2013. It wasn\'t on the disclosure where it asks on two questions, one where it asks about any roof repairs and second where it asks whether there have been any claims made on the home. I brought if up to my agent and she asked the seller\'s agent (Consuelo Nava with KW) and she plainly just said \"oh they forgot about that claim\" and that they filed a claim but did not proceed with the claim due to not having any damage. They did say that they got a repair man to fix some flashing not related to the hail damage so that \'maybe that\'s why it came up on the insurance as a claim... there are so many mistakes on the disclosure but this was the main concern..What are my options?

Yes they can so I always suggest giving buyers a few numbers for inspectors. Then when I am listing , I ask the the sellers to be very honest.

Honesty, good ethics and definitely good old fashioned hard work! If they don\'t call you back in a timely manner and you have to keep calling them, they are not working for you. Or I must say if you are talking to their unlicensed assistant more than the Realtor, forget it! This is one of the biggest investments and they should be treating you with the up most respect. I been selling for 22 years and Im still excited about my job and communication is key. Your success is my success and I will make sure I have worked my hardest for you to obtain your goal.
