For 18 years I have had the privilege to assist Buyers and Sellers in Fort Bend and adjacent counties. Moving between states gave me an appreciation for all aspects of the house hunt and sales process. I love the opportunity to help sellers prepare their largest investment for sale. Negotiating is a favorite aspect of the process. Seeing properties while working with Buyers allows me to help them consider potential issues that may arise in the process. Whether it is a Seller's market, or a Buyer's market, I can help you navigate the process. When I am not at work, I love to hit the bike trails with my husband George. After graduating with a bachelor's degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, I received my Nursing Facility Administrators license. I worked as an administrator for almost 5 years, and also earned my insurance license and selling long term care insurance. In, 2002, due to my husbands job, we moved overseas living in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada; Doha, Qatar; Cairo, Egypt; Geneva, Switzerland; and Dubai, spending 14 years abroad before moving to Sugar Land.

Real Estate has always interested me. My husband and I have purchased 5 homes together. I love meeting new people and helping others. When you move as much as we have, you learn to think of moving from a different perspective, especially when moving on an international and even interstate level.

With my experience in moving from country to country, I'm very interested in helping people who are new to the area. My extensive travels have given me a strong sense of empathy, so I enjoy working with people of different cultures and experiences. Another area of interest is helping senior citizens.

I'm originally from Louisiana and my husband is from Maine. He works in the oil and gas industry. We have 3 children. Our oldest is a French Professor and our two younger children attend Texas A&M University.

I enjoy cooking, decorating, painting, hosting, traveling, and I have always enjoyed being active in our community and in the children's schools.

A fourth generation Texan, Kelly Orth has been a long time resident of Fort Bend. Her knowledge of Ft. Bend County and Southwest Houston gives her an edge in the market. She is dedicated to giving her clients professional and courteous service, and she works diligently to help them attain their goals. Prior to embarking on her real estate career, Kelly worked in outside sales, as a quality assurance manager and as a Fort Bend ISD teacher. Her experiences have given her patience and listening skills. The diversity of her accomplishments show how easily she can adapt to any situation or environment. Conscientious and motivated, her enthusiasm makes Kelly a success in real estate. She pays close attention to details to ensure that each transaction is completed thoroughly with care. Kelly enjoys meeting new people and giving back to her community. She is past president for the Fort Bend Exchange Club, a volunteer with Santa's Exchange and past president Women's Association for Riverbend Country Club.

Prior to becoming a full time Investment Advisor & Realtor in the Commercial Division of Berkshire Hathaway, Alan Paylor has a diverse background in the real estate, mortgage banking, residential markets, and the financial services industry. He has been instrumental in facilitating corporate leases, facility management and investors find properties that match their goals and objectives. Alan applies this experience to assist his clients with the many contractual inter-dependencies, available options, and regulatory and time-sensitive processes which culminate in better decision making.

Mr. Paylor has a Juris Doctorate in business law and utilizes this knowledge to provide an excellent client experience from explaining the details, to providing an understanding of often complex and related transactions of the buy/sell/lease processes. His experience extends to office/building selection, build out/design and leasing for corporate clients and retail. Alan's knowledge base includes title, eminent domain, zoning, lending and debt servicing as well property management. His skills include management of distressed properties, default, collection, work outs, and regulatory compliance.

He has a strong belief that an agent must be a trusted advisor to build a stronger and more lasting relationship. He also recognizes that referrals are a hallmark metric of repeat business and client satisfaction. He is known for his tireless work ethic, positive attitude and hands on approach to conflict negotiation, mediation and resolution.

As an Investment Advisor, Alan is passionate about using the experience honed over the years to provide textbook service to his clients. He has been a resident of the Houston area for 30+ years and currently focuses on serving commercial client's expansion or retraction of their properties.

He is a United States Army Veteran and a volunteer with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo including several ancillary charities. He and his wife Susan enjoy the hill country wineries and antiquing.
