Alan Paylor

Prior to becoming a full time Investment Advisor & Realtor in the Commercial Division of Berkshire Hathaway, Alan Paylor has a diverse background in the real estate, mortgage banking, residential markets, and the financial services industry. He has been instrumental in facilitating corporate leases, facility management and investors find properties that match their goals and objectives. Alan applies this experience to assist his clients with the many contractual inter-dependencies, available options, and regulatory and time-sensitive processes which culminate in better decision making.

Mr. Paylor has a Juris Doctorate in business law and utilizes this knowledge to provide an excellent client experience from explaining the details, to providing an understanding of often complex and related transactions of the buy/sell/lease processes. His experience extends to office/building selection, build out/design and leasing for corporate clients and retail. Alan's knowledge base includes title, eminent domain, zoning, lending and debt servicing as well property management. His skills include management of distressed properties, default, collection, work outs, and regulatory compliance.

He has a strong belief that an agent must be a trusted advisor to build a stronger and more lasting relationship. He also recognizes that referrals are a hallmark metric of repeat business and client satisfaction. He is known for his tireless work ethic, positive attitude and hands on approach to conflict negotiation, mediation and resolution.

As an Investment Advisor, Alan is passionate about using the experience honed over the years to provide textbook service to his clients. He has been a resident of the Houston area for 30+ years and currently focuses on serving commercial client's expansion or retraction of their properties.

He is a United States Army Veteran and a volunteer with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo including several ancillary charities. He and his wife Susan enjoy the hill country wineries and antiquing.
