I consider myself ALMOST a native Texan as I've lived here since the age of 2. I love diversity, and growing up in Houston has allowed me to build lasting multicultural relationships, which I cherish today. I began working in sales at a young age selling everything from cars to cell phones, which I excelled in for 10 years. At 24, I purchased my first home and it was then that my love for sales and my new appreciation for homeownership combined to create an interest in the real estate field. Highly competitive by nature, I enjoy fighting for my clients and negotiating the best possible deals for them. I do that by always finding ways to improve my abilities, periodically attending courses to further my knowledge in subjects such as representing buyers, negotiation tactics, staging and many others. I consider myself a "techie," but also don't veer from the old-fashioned skills of "door knocking" and face-to-face interactions. Though I enjoy working with buyers, I particularly excel with sellers as I've gained a reputation for knowledge in staging and preparing a home to show in a way to maximize buyer interest and minimize days on the market. Also, with a brother and sister in real estate investing, I've been able to see behind the scenes and inner workings of the process which has given me better insight and tools to work with investors. Health and fitness are very important to me, so staying in shape keeps me on top of my game to guide my clients through the sometimes overwhelming process of selling or buying a home, and I'm sure to bring integrity and a genuine passion to represent my clients to every transaction. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, trying out new restaurants, attending networking events, spending time with family and friends and walking my Doberman, Bamboo. I am also fluent in Spanish.

Born in Guatemala, and raised in Houston, Texas. Being a Latina and growing up in Texas has allowed me to build multicultural relationships throughout the years. Coming from the Medical field and being the former owner of KMX Preventive Maintenance & Stainless Steel fabrication, a company to assist kitchen needs for the restaurant industry, I learned the importance of giving my clients A+ customer service and attending to their needs the best way possible. "I managed numerous rebuilding projects and coordinated personally with private and government entities to rebuild structures, many with historic designations, in New Orleans after Katrina, but I had no idea that expertise would be put to good use aftermoving to Houston in 2016," Roland says. "When Harvey hit, I volunteered with the Cajun Navy to do my part to help in the storm aftermath and was ultimately hired as the project superintendent with Ballard Building Company for the reconstruction of 14 high-end Memorial-area residences. We eventually renovated or rebuilt 22 projects in total. Helping those people put their lives back together after such an unexpected and life-altering event was extremely rewarding. It was also a crash-course in Houston neighborhoods, self-reliance, and the importance of neighbors supporting neighbors."

Roland specializes in areas both inside and outside of the Loop, namely West University, Southampton, River Oaks, Tanglewood, Memorial, Bellaire, The Heights and the Energy Corridor. Fortunate to have strong international family and business ties, Roland is broadening his reach by pursuing opportunities in the Caribbean and Latin America by becoming a Certified International Property Specialist.

A native of New Orleans, Roland earned his BS and M. Arch. degrees at LSU. Outgoing and personable, he is easy to talk to and clients attest that he is a good listener. When not working, he loves to explore the diverse culinary and social scene that Houston has to offer. Roland is a football fan who roots passionately for the LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints.
