Alyssa was born and raised in Southern California, but is a Texan at heart! She went to high school in Jourdanton, TX and moved to Houston in 2001 to attend college at the University of Houston. In 2005 she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Education.   Alyssa started her career working as a 3rd grade teacher in the Cy-Fair school district. During that time she married her high school sweetheart, and during her 5th year of teaching, they had their first child. Alyssa left teaching at that time to be a stay at home mom.
