Chris founded Appoint Realty to represent buyers and sellers, and landlords and tenants, in sales and leasing of commercial and residential properties. His real estate brokerage experience has been predominantly commercial in nature, with transactional and advisory experience across a variety of real estate property types.
Chris's market knowledge, financial expertise, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail all serve his clients well in terms of pricing, negotiation, and transaction execution.
Chris entered the real estate industry in 2008 by way of leading a multi-generational single-family office at a privately-held real estate investment, development, and management company. Prior to that, he had worked primarily in business valuation, corporate finance, and M&A advisory, with over a decade advising owners, executives, and boards of privately held and publicly traded companies on complex matters pertaining to their debt, mezzanine, and equity securities, and testifying as an expert witness.
A native Texan and longtime Houstonian, Chris graduated from Memorial High School in Houston and completed his Bachelor of Science from Trinity University and his MBA and MPA from The University of Texas at Austin.
Chris's real estate credentials include Licensed Real Estate Broker in Texas; Registered Property Tax Arbitrator in Texas; Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM); Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI); and LEED® Green Associate™. His financial credentials include Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas (note: Appoint Realty, LLC is Not a CPA Firm).
