Kara is a 4th generation Texan and proud to be a Realtor with her family business, Lane Real Estate, teaming up with both her parents who are also both Brokers, Betty and Rocky Lane. Kara grew up right outside of Houston in Rosenberg and graduated from Terry Highschool and Texas A&M University with a BS in Psychology. She worked for a Galleria/Inner Loop title company as a Marketing Manager for 3 years and later switched to the other side of real estate in 2002 as a Realtor. She enjoyed a successful and fulfilling real estate career for years thanks to her repeat clients, referrals, friends and family prior to her husband's job transfer overseas that kept their family on the move for 13 years before returning back home to Houston. Kara has lived and/or worked inside the loop, Bellaire, Galleria, The Heights, Memorial, Rice Military, Sugar Land, Katy, Rosenberg/Richmond, Cypress and Spring and of course has family and friends scattered all over Houston giving her vast experience and knowledge of the different areas of this great city of Houston. She most enjoys spending time with her husband Justin and their two children, Reid and Kate and their bernedoodle Bear.

With over two decades of experience in the real estate industry, Ralph stands as a testament to resilience, dedication, and unparalleled expertise. His journey to the United States in 1984 was marked by challenges, including a brief period of homelessness. However, Ralph's indomitable spirit saw him through, leading him to pursue higher education at Prairie View A&M University. Initially majoring in Agriculture, Ralph's aspirations took a turn when he discovered a profound passion for community and family engagement during his tenure as a Social Worker.

Recognizing the importance of continuous learning, Ralph furthered his education by obtaining a Master's Degree in Sociology from Prairie View A&M University.

1995 was a pivotal year for Ralph. Purchasing his first home not only marked a personal milestone but also ignited his interest in real estate. He quickly recognized the potential in the industry and embarked on a career as a real estate agent with Christie Realty. His dedication and prowess were evident as he emerged as the top producer for eight consecutive years, selling over 380 homes.

In 2001, Ralph's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Discovered Homes Investment Inc., where he transitioned from an agent to a broker. His reputation as a top producer in the Houston area was further solidified through accolades from the Houston Association of Realtors (HAR). This success story became a family affair when his wife, Nike Ojo, left her position at the Harris County Tax collector's office to join him in his venture.

Ralph's journey, from his early days in the U.S. to becoming a revered real estate broker, is a testament to his resilience, dedication, and unwavering integrity. He firmly believes in and lives by the principle, "Never sacrifice integrity for growth," a mantra that has guided him in serving thousands of families in the community.
