When Hurricane Harvey struck the city and 95 percent of her neighborhood was affected, she immediately went to work helping her displaced neighbors find apartments or homes to lease while they determined their next steps. She was able to use her experience to successfully help them sell their homes for much higher prices than most investors were willing to pay.
