He formerly served as Director of Retail Properties for The Woodlands Operating Company, L.P. His responsibilities with The Woodlands included development activities along with directing the leasing, asset management and partnership interests for an extensive retail portfolio. During a seven year tenure with The Woodlands, Beard negotiated over $50 million in lease transactions and $35 million in land sales.
