Jeff Beard is the Founder and Managing Director of SVN | J. Beard Real Estate, a full-service commercial real estate firm headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a BBA in Finance, Jeff has been a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) since 2000 and is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker.
With over 30 years of industry experience, Jeff has participated in transactions totaling more than $3 billion in consideration. His background includes the acquisition, disposition, development, and joint-venture structuring of grocery-anchored centers, retail, and mixed-use projects. As former Director of Retail Properties for The Woodlands Development Company, he gained deep expertise in planned commercial development spanning office, medical, retail, and hospitality assets.
Jeff remains actively involved in both firm leadership and select brokerage assignments. Under his guidance, the firm has been consistently ranked by the Houston Business Journal as one of the top 20 largest commercial real estate brokerage firms in the region.
He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and a past President of the Commercial Real Estate Association of Montgomery County.
