Julia, a long-time Houstonian and graduate of the University of Houston with a Business degree, professional career started in commercial property management and after starting her family with Keith, her husband of 30+ years, served her Church as an accountant and pre-school teacher. In addition, Julia has been a business franchise owner, active volunteer with her daughter, Mari Clair, in the Northwest Houston Sugar Plumb Cotillion and National Charity League and active in her community's Women's and Garden Clubs.
