Hi I'm Demetra from Amite, La, but Houston, TX has been my home since 2002. I'm an awesome wife to James, and a wonderful mother to my two kids, Kamaury and Serenity. I'm full of love and smiles, known to be honest and trustworthy, but I'm straight forward when needed. I truly care for people and I'm a true believer of building relationships and not just transactions. I love to travel, (that's probably why I married a truck driver), however sitting next to an ocean is my favorite thing to do. I enjoy reading and entertaining, but there's something about music that just takes me away. I also enjoy southern cooking when I'm in the mood. I have a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and I'm certified in Special Education. Although, education has been my background for many years, I'm ready to use those same skills as a real estate agent. Having spent a significant period of time as a successful detail-oriented executive assistant, I made the transition to licensed Realtor in 2005 in Lansing, Michigan where I served both buyers and sellers, acted as property management for several multi-unit apartment complexes and privately owned properties, and assisted the broker/builder in the various tasks associated with bringing "new builds' to market. After relocating to Texas, I remained on the periphery of the industry as an unlicensed assistant in the field while also working in the educational system as I focused with my husband on raising a family. With our children grown, I am getting back into the game and am now able to devote myself fully to the needs and desires of my clients. I bring my considerable experience and attention to detail to bear on the task of ensuring my clients receive the quality, luxury experience they deserve in the pursuit of their real estate dreams.
