For fun, she enjoys walking down the tree-lined streets of her neighborhood, yoga, trying new restaurants, and most of all reading and playing soccer with her little boy. Kat is heavily involved in leadership within the local, state, and national associations serving in executive leadership. In her community, she is a member of University Baptist Church and supports The Landing, an organization that helps victims of human trafficking, and the Art League of Houston which supports local artists.
