Irina Chong was born and raised in Malaysia. She was an import/export manager and business owner in Malaysia before making Houston her home when she moved to the United States. Prior to entering the real estate business in Houston, Irina applied her analytical and procurement skills serving the City of Houston as a Procurement Specialist. She is known as one that goes the extra mile, kind and honest. She is also recognized for her tenacity, performance, professionalism and her ability to innovate. Her passion for travel and experience in diverse cultures extend to her professional life and allow her to work well with both local and international clientele.

I have been a part of the southwest Houston area for the past 18 years. I moved to Houston in 2004 and, together with my husband Daniel, are raising our family in Meyerland. I am familiar with, but not limited to, Meyerland, Bellaire, Galleria, West University, Rice University, Maplewood, and Westbury. We went through three floods, including Harvey in 2017, acquiring first-hand experience in topics related to flooding. As a result of Harvey, we demolished our beloved house and built a new construction. In the process, we interviewed and worked with builders and contractors, gaining knowledge of the building market.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Florida. I am also a Texas certified and licensed teacher, currently, in my fifth year of teaching. I am very passionate about teaching and making a difference in the lives of my students. I find it very gratifying being able to serve my students, their families, and school community. In the same way, as a real estate agent, I am committed to serving individuals and families looking for their own communities in which to set roots, invest or establish a business.

Originally from Peru, I now consider Houston my home. Fluent in English and Spanish and having travelled and lived in different places, I love the multicultural and multilingual nature of this city.

Wayne was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA.

He attended Temple University in Philadelphia and received a BS degree. After university he lived in Africa for 3 years. He arrived in Houston, Texas in 1975 for a “short stay” and has been there ever since.

Wayne was the top salesman with a real estate company in the late 70’s and early 80’s In 1986 Wayne and his wife, Jackie, opened Wayne Murray Realtors, one the leading independent realtors in the Houston real estate market.

In January of 2004, Wayne Murray Properties joined Weichert, Realtors as an affiliate.

Wayne is a member of Houston Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, & Texas Real Estate Teachers Program.

He has taught real estate at the University of Houston, Houston Community College, San Jacinto Community College, and Champions School of Real Estate. He was one of the first teachers in Texas to instruct in both ABR and MCE.

Wayne is the present Vice Chairman of HAR Credit Union. He has served HAR in the areas of Government Affairs, Political Affairs, Public Relations and Realtor Education in Texas.

Presently Wayne is serving on the Greater Houston Partnership, is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and The Rotary.

Finally, he and Jackie have 37 real estate agents. Their company today is Weichert, Realtors Wayne Murray Properties. The company is pro-active in the community and has been involved in local charities such as Toys for Tots, Houston Habitat for Humanity, Amigos De Dios and Quail Valley Church.

Melissa “Mel” Aljoe was born in Singapore and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, where she graduated from Elkins High School. She attended Texas A & M University, College Station, TX, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in History and a Masters in Education. She moved to Houston and spent the next seven years as a high school history teacher and volleyball and golf coach.

When Melissa decided to make a career change she chose to become a full time professional Realtor. It has turned out to be a great choice because she has always had an interest in real estate, loves to meet new people, and loves to help her clients find the perfect homes for their families. Melissa is dedicated to going above and beyond what is necessary to make sure her clients have smooth and stress-free real estate transactions.
