After graduating cum laude from Texas A & M University, she aimed for a real estate career and worked for several years as a licensed Realtor-Assistant for top producing agents at Greenwood King Properties. At GK, Haley experienced first-hand the demands, challenges and rewards being a Realtor brings, learned to handle it all with grace and humor, and fast-tracked a successful career as an agent with the company.

I’m not from Texas, but I really did get here as soon as I could. Originally born and raised in Sonoma County, California, I fell in love with everything Texas, particularly Houston, and moved here in 2014 to be a part of its diversity, economy, thriving nature and friendly demeanor. Fourteen years working in the legal field, 4 years of that as a paralegal for top personal injury and probate attorneys, taught me great multitasking and organizing skills, how to maintain a professional demeanor, attention to details, and how to work well under pressure. It also nurtured and strengthened my love of helping people, which I carry with me into real estate. I particularly take great satisfaction working with renters and first time home buyers, building a relationship of trust, honesty and integrity while keeping a constant and open line of communication to mitigate stress and worry. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, running marathons, traveling, and meeting friendly folks wherever I go…not hard to do in Texas! Charis learned that life lesson at an early age when, as one of three concurrent jobs, she worked as a steamer in women's apparel at the Dallas Market Center. She stuck with it and worked her way up, becoming a full-time manager and assistant buyer. "Looking back, I love that I started that way," she says. "It taught me all sides of the business and I was able and willing to do more than the average manager." After 10 years in the retail industry, Charis decided to transition into real estate sales, a career change that capitalized on her marketing and customer service expertise. "I chose to work at Greenwood King Properties because it's a local, woman-owned business with a 'team-player' atmosphere that I very much respect." Patience is one of Charis's virtues and being of service to others gives her joy and purpose. She sources her business through a network of personal and professional contacts, social media, hand-written letters, and neighborhood flyers. She especially enjoys helping first-time home buyers find the right neighborhood with the right house, and growing families to sell their home and find "the next step up." Born in Houston, Charis attended Memorial High School and earned a degree in business management from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. Realtor Karen Prichard Warren, a native Houstonian. My father was an architect and designer who not only designed beautiful homes and furniture, but was also an artist. I guess that's where my passion for architecture and design came from, she said. One of her first jobs was with a commercial management company in the bookkeeping department and the later she worked for a home builder. This six-year position taught Warren a lot about construction. After gaining experience working in the commercial management and homebuilding sectors, she decided to try her hand at real estate and became licensed in 2000. She recently moved back to Houston after 18 years working in Granbury, Texas. Warren joined Greenwood King Properties. She likes to educate her clients regarding the buying and selling process and what the market is doing. She describes herself as honest, very ethical, organized and service- oriented, while putting her client's best interest first. Her real estate knowledge includes residential, investment property, undeveloped land, farm and ranch, 1031 tax exchange and relocation properties. While in Granbury, Warren also lent her talents to the Granbury Board of Directors from 2015-2018. Tolar Athletic Booster Club Secretary 2011-2013, Tolar Athletic Booster of the Year 2009-2010 and Leadership Granbury 2009. In Houston, she volunteered at MD Anderson as a part of the Houston Junior League 2000-2002. Warren, a Robert E. Lee High School graduate, attended Texas Tech University for one year before transferring to the University of Houston, where she was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority. As the mother of four children, she learned she is stronger than she thought when her husband passed away while her children were between the ages of 12 and 3. Her faith in God got her through the difficult time. Warren often says, never use ink in your calendar, because God will change your plans. Change is a part of life, if you don't bend you will break.
