Hi, I’m Alaina Cookson, a REALTOR® with RE/MAX Land & Homes on the Bay, serving Port Lavaca, Port O’Connor, Seadrift, Palacios, and communities throughout the Texas Gulf Coast.

Before real estate, I worked in education, where I learned how important it is to communicate clearly, break down complicated information, solve problems, and help people feel confident in the decisions they’re making. Those skills now shape the way I work with every buyer and seller.

Real estate can be exciting, stressful, and sometimes overwhelming. My job is to make the process feel manageable. I believe in giving clients straightforward information, honest advice, consistent communication, and a clear understanding of what comes next.

I work with a wide range of clients, from first-time buyers and growing families to longtime homeowners, investors, land buyers, and those looking for a place along the coast. I know our local market, and I understand that buying or selling property here often comes with considerations that are unique to coastal Texas.

As a wife, mother of four, and longtime member of the community, I also understand that real estate is rarely just about the property. It is about family, finances, lifestyle, timing, and what comes next.
