Originally from Shreveport and a graduate of Louisiana State University, Lisa Rigdon brings to real estate a service-based approach and the detailed, analytical style of a scientist. A background in chemistry and commodity oil trading equips Lisa with a keen ability to identify a win-win solution and to facilitate a deal that pleases all parties involved. Retired from the oil and gas business since late 2017, Lisa maintains strong international connections within the industry. A longtime Houstonian, Lisa is especially passionate about the city and enjoys sharing that enthusiasm with clients relocating to the area. She finds great pleasure in working with buyers and primarily services the areas inside and just north of the loop such as West U, The Heights, and Oak Forest. Her professional interactions and extensive travel (including her time living in Brazil and Barbados) offer a unique perspective and insight to a global lifestyle.

When not serving her clients, Lisa remains active through travel, skiing, time with loved ones, and painting. She volunteers at Sundance Film Festival annually and supports her community through STEM initiatives and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Her constant companion is her darling Labradoodle Lucy.

I have always had a passion for architecture and design; admiring the intricate details of residential and commercial design. I decided to follow my lifelong dream of becoming an interior designer which, in turn, has led me to an exciting and rewarding career in real estate. I am holding true to my goals.

On a personal level, I am a woman with a devotion to God, the mother of four amazing young adults and wife to a wonderful husband. I love the outdoors enjoying hiking and traveling as often as possible. Cycling is a year round passion for me. My other love is photography, consistently seeking the perfect shot.

Houstonian by heart and choice! Originally from Mexico, I have lived in The Space City for 36 incredible years! I've been married for 25 years, and having two kids helps me understand the importance of finding a home in the right neighborhood for my clients and their families. After graduating from college, I started my journalism career, which spans over 20 years with several major English and Spanish television news networks in Texas. I covered incidents and celebrations within Houston and its surrounding areas. I met many people from all walks of life, which allowed me to understand the residential area that fit their lifestyles and priorities. As children were growing up, our family lifestyle and preferences changed, so in 2009, I decided to get my license in real estate; nothing has been more fulfilling to me than seeing my clients' faces when they closed on the home of their dreams! Helping my clients with the buying process is my passion. I believe that we continue learning and enriching our knowledge throughout our lives. In 2015, I returned to college and got a degree from UH in psychology, with minors in Mexican American Studies and Journalism. I also earned a Masters degree from Pepperdine University in Clinical psychology. Like anyone else, I can't predict what tomorrow will be, but I aim to help another client fulfill their dream home today!
