Hi. My name is Karen Wylie and I am an experienced realtor with HomeSmart. My areas of expertise include homes in the Heights, Cypress, Tomball, Spring and Klein. I am a native Houstonian and also a Farmers Insurance agent.

Having lived in several parts of Houston, I currently live in the Heights. I enjoy helping my family, friends and neighbors with all of their real estate ventures from buying and selling the traditional way to finding and flipping homes. My goal is to make every client feel like they are the only one.

My hobbies include sports, travel, interior decorating and dining out.

I am genuinely enthusiastic about real estate, yet my passion surpasses the typical closing excitement. My passion begins at the basics exploring the property, learning the client's desires and behaviors, then empowering them by educating on every step of the real estate process. Before beginning my career in real estate, I bought, revitalized, and sold my own homes which peaked my interest and after moving to Texas, I decided it was time to help others. When I began my real estate career in 2014, I accepted less of the agent role and more of an educator and advisor to each of my clients. With my insight and guidance, I empower and educate my clients throughout the home buying/selling process. My unique approach to real estate allows me to breakdown and analyze data, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and help my clients find their dream home. As a graduate of Cal State University - San Marcos, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Marketing. I am also an active member of the community, taking on numerous leadership positions. I served as the Women's Council of Realtors Fort Bend Network Secretary (2016), President-Elect (2017), and WCR President (2018). In 2019, I transitioned to the Houston Association of Realtors Fort Bend Network Chair. My mission as a Real Estate Advisor is to ensure that my clients' experience is seamless. I am committed to my clients from beginning to end and pride myself on honesty, through communication, and determination. My loyal clientele, personal referrals, and repeat business are the building blocks of my career. Immersed into the world at a young age, Kendal has always admired learning about the real estate industry as she watched her mother utilize her impressive work ethic over the years. Kendal also keeps busy with her many philanthropic efforts. Volunteering at multiple programs such as the University of Houston Bauer School of Business Endowment Program, Covenant House, Hope for Haiti's Children, and Citizens for Animal Protection, Kendal understands the value of giving back. She is also Chairperson of the Cameron Kiecke Memorial Foundation.

Alison McGallion is always ready to help her clients find the perfect home. She is market savvy and organized, her attention to detail puts her a step ahead in residential real estate. Alison strives to make the home-finding process enjoyable, and her personality helps to make the experience a pleasurable journey for her clients. Alison has earned her ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), SRS (Seller Representative Specialist) and TRLP (Texas Realtors Leadership Program) designations.

Alison is an avid participant in charitable organizations. She enjoys supporting local and national charities by participating in bike rides, specifically the MS 150, which she has completed nine times. Alison has also been a volunteer with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for the past 18 years. She often donates her time to the less fortunate, and since 2008, her family and friends have served many needy families lunch on Christmas Eve.

Alison currently resides in Lazybrook, enjoying the close nit community, easy access to many freeways and neighborhood establishments. Prior to Lazybrook, Alison lived in Oak Forest, where, unfortunately she lost her home to Hurricane Harvey. Prior to Oak Forest, Alison lived Downtown for 6 years, appreciating the diversity, people and things to do in Houston. Alison graduated High School from Ball High in Galveston, Texas. She frequents the Island monthly and used to own a short term rental on the Island. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and can often be found outdoors training for the MS 150 bicycle ride.

Although Alison hasn't been a Houston resident since birth, she moved here 23 years ago after receiving a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University and vows never to leave! Alison also holds a Masters in Criminal Justice from the University of Houston- Downtown.
