Luisana Vazquez Oelfke is a native Houstonian and a proud University of Houston Cougar. She completed her Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Marketing and Management including a minor in Spanish, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2006. After working in medical device sales and property management she spent 12 years as a bilingual elementary school educator and reading and math interventionist.

As a lifelong Houstonian and former educator Luisana is very familiar with the different communities and school districts in the Greater Houston Area. Luisana and her husband Chris, a licensed home inspector, have made their home on the west side of Houston in the Energy Corridor. They have two lovely young daughters who keep her on her toes. She is a strong community supporter of Child Advocates, Inc. and has served as a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem. Marsha also donates much of her free time to fostering dogs and volunteering with animal rescue groups.
