She moved to Houston in 1990 and has loved this city ever since. She and her husband have purchased dozens of homes in and around the Houston area over the past 25 years. With all that experience, she finally decided to follow her love of real estate full time. She has several military Veterans in her family and has a deep respect for them. Karen currently volunteers her time as a member of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Family Service, as a current member (and two-time President) of the Women's City Club, as a member of the Advisory Board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (and former member of the JDRF board), and as a member of the Bunker Hill Elementary School Community Improvement Team, having previously served on the Community Improvement Teams for Frostwood Elementary School and Spring Branch Middle School and as a former member of the Board of Trustees of Congregation Beth Israel.

Pilar Moya is a native of Colombia and has called Houston and The Galleria area home since 2002. Less than 2 years after moving to Houston, she developed a passion for real estate while assisting a highly successful Realtor, and decided to follow her steps and earn her own license in 2004. During her first years in real estate Pilar always performed as one of the top 3 among 500+ agents within her brokerage firm. In her early days as a Realtor, Pilar's brokers noticed her strong ethic, market knowledge and passion for detail; which inspired them to name her as a brokerage's mentors for junior realtors.

In 2006 Pilar started investing in residential rental properties in the Houston Metropolitan Area; she created a company comprised of property and asset management to provide a better level of service to the multi-tenant residential properties, as well as real estate advisory based on market statistics to determine higher return on investments.

In 2010, Pilar created a sales team of 17 full-time Realtors covering Harris, Fort-Bend, Brazoria, Montgomery, and Waller county where year after year most of the agents ranked in the Top 20 among 2000+ agents in the firm. In addition to her Realtor responsibilities, in 2016 Pilar expanded the portfolio of her company to land development.
