Maggie Young Garza is a native Texan, she was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and has lived in Houston since 2001 living in Montrose, the Heights, and currently in West University Place. She has a passion and enthusiasm for helping people along with an abundant amount of energy that make her a fantastic real estate agent. Maggie has a way of making people feel comfortable; she is caring, honest and makes the time spent working with her clients valuable. Before selling estate, Maggie was a flight attendant with American Airlines based in New York City where she lived until 2000. After leaving the airline industry Maggie became a recruiter for technology staffing company in Dallas, Texas and transferred to Houston in 2001. Soon after she joined KBR/Halliburton where was a recruiter until 2006. Selling Real Estate since 2012 she is ready to work for her clients and help them realize their real estate goals. Maggie earned a degree in horticulture from Texas A&M University in 1998. She is committed to her community; in Timbergrove Manor she was previously the volunteer coordinator, helping to organize the yearly community garage sale and the annual snow party for the children of the neighborhood. In West University Place she has previously help chaired Fathers & Flashlights and is on the committee for West University Parks Lovers Ball 2016. She is active at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School previously chairing the PTO Auction/Gala in 2014 and working on the Legacy Wall Project. Maggie is happily married to Dax F. Garza. They have three sons: Dax II, Porter, and Marshal. When Maggie is not working or balancing the joys of motherhood, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Prior to becoming a Realtor, Jim was a classroom teacher, a counselor, a principal, and a school district administrator. As he says, “Education was not just a job for me – I was called to be a teacher. Now I am equally as excited about my real estate career.” Jim’s real estate experience includes waterfront, canal front, and vacation homes in Galveston and the Bay Area.

Jim Barker is a native Houstonian who has lived his entire life in the Greater Houston area. He holds a BA from The University of Texas at Austin and an MS from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. Jim is a member of Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church, where he serves as a Eucharistic Visitor. In addition to his church activities, he enjoys travel, architecture, Houston’s history and photography.

Lynn's Experience
Armed with a bachelor in business administration from Southern Methodist University, Lynn Hughes set out to make things happen. The allure of real estate prompted her to get her real estate license in 1984, and Lynn hit the pavement running working for some of Houston's top firms. She so impressed her clients that one of them encouraged her to apply for a job as the financial manager for M.D. Anderson's highly successful Children's Art Project at University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. It was a time of growth and change for the project and a valued and cherished experience for Lynn. During her four-year tenure, Lynn expanded her knowledge of finance, technology, marketing and time management – perfect skills for any Realtor in a competitive market. She says she is "committed to maintaining professional and clear communications" with her customers, as well as everyone involved in all her real estate transactions. "I believe that promoting a positive dialog helps my customers achieve their goals," elaborates Lynn.

In 1994, Lynn and husband Craig Hughes, a licensed architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects and Texas Society of Architects, founded Hughes Building & Design, Inc. This design/build company specializes in designing and building residential projects. Lynn's market expertise encompasses residential resale and new construction in Houston's close-in neighborhoods including West University, Southampton, River Oaks, Boulevard Oaks, Braes Heights, Afton Oaks, Memorial, Briargrove and Tanglewood.

Lynn's Personal Side
Of course this well-rounded Realtor would have a healthy mix of personal interests that include fly-fishing, traveling and cooking. Additional interests include following new trends, elements and colors in home construction / renovation and finding interesting antiques and art. Lynn is a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and SMU Cox Business School Alumni Association. She has been associated with the Southampton Garden Club and the Theta Mothers' Club.
