Xiuyan Yin

Originally from China, Xiuyan has been a resident of The Woodlands since 2008 and has developed a great affinity for the area and all that it has to offer! After living in the United States for 15 years, she has resided in multiple cities and communities across the country, but has yet to experience the same connection that she has with The Woodlands area. She particularly appreciates the community’s natural environment, its amenities and conveniences, school, weather, and the relatively low living costs. As a real estate agent, she aspires to introduce buyers to a community where they will feel this same connection and appreciation.

Prior to real estate, Xiuyan had been quite successful academically. She earned her BE and PhD degrees in prestigious chemical engineering programs offered by Tsinghua University in China and the University of Minnesota, respectively. After having children, however, Xiuyan decided to stay at home to raise them for the last eight years. With a desire to get back to work while still raising her children, Xiuyan opted to pursue a career in real estate due to its flexible hours and minimal travel.

Xiuyan originally joined Connect Realty because of their extensive training and valuable resources that have equipped her with the essential tools to generate optimal results for her clients. Whether representing buyers or sellers, Xiuyan’s philosophy and work ethic remain the same. She emphasizes the importance of putting her client’s needs and interests first at all times, educating them throughout the process and executing the necessary marketing strategies to secure their satisfaction and help them reach their goals. Her high quality service is empowered by the innovative technology, which Connect Realty has developed, not only facilitating the transaction from start to finish, but also allowing her to complete every aspect of the transaction from her virtual office, whether at home, at the office or on vacation. In addition, Xiuyan instills the utmost level of trust and confidence with her clients, as she illustrates her in depth knowledge regarding not only the real estate process, but also industry news and market trends. No matter what, her focus remains on quality rather than quantity. Her aspiration is to become not only a partner of her clients in the real estate transaction, but also a life time friend.

When not diligently working with clients, Xiuyan enjoys playing piano, cooking, and swimming. In addition, she is an active member of HAR, TAR, and NAR.
